In August 2024, Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI) trained community TB workers (CTWs) in three Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Cross River State: Obubra, Boki and Ikom.

Each session focused on using the CommTB App for TB screening and active TB/HIV case finding. With the app, CTWs can screen people in their communities and identify possible TB and HIV cases early, so that people receive timely care and treatment.

CTWs work on the front line of the TB and HIV response. Combining technology with community health work supports earlier detection and better health outcomes in Obubra, Boki, Ikom and the surrounding areas.

We thank all the health workers who took part in the training.
