In March 2026, Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI) held the endline evaluation of our FEF-OSC 2025 project, funded by the Embassy of France in Nigeria and delivered with Beam Community Development 360 Initiative (BCD360). The project supported young women in Nasarawa State with economic empowerment and access to health services, and ended in April 2026.

The evaluation brought together the project management team, key stakeholders and the women and girls who took part. It was a space for open conversation about what the project achieved, the challenges we met and the difference it made, with participants’ own reflections at the centre.

Participants spoke about healing through the art therapy sessions and about growth through skills acquisition and business support. Their reflections showed that the project was about more than its activities: it was about restoring dignity, building resilience and creating lasting opportunities.

Looking ahead, we will use what we learned to strengthen our partnerships, improve our approach and help make sure the project’s benefits continue beyond the project cycle.
