TB and HIV case finding outreaches in Ugep and Biko Biko, Yakurr LGA

In November 2025, Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI) held TB/HIV active case finding (ACF) community outreaches in Ikom and in Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area (LGA), Cross River State. We also held a moonlight (evening) TB/HIV ACF outreach at Biko Biko community in Yakurr LGA.
The outreaches focused on:
- community sensitisation
- screening
- referrals
- health education
The aim was to make sure hard-to-reach populations have timely access to TB and HIV services. Through this work we continue to focus on early detection, reducing stigma and linking community members to quality care.
These outreaches are part of our community TB and HIV case finding in Cross River State.
