In August 2024, Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI) carried out a community outreach for active TB/HIV case finding in Etomi Ward, Etung Local Government Area (LGA), Cross River State.

Through door-to-door visits and meetings with local residents, our team offered TB and HIV screening. Finding cases early means people can start treatment sooner, which helps break the chain of transmission and improve health outcomes.

We are grateful to the Etomi community for their warm welcome, and to the health workers who led the outreach.
