In May 2024, Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI) partnered with Lawyers Alert to hold an advocacy strengthening, capacity building and stakeholder engagement meeting for community-based organisations (CBOs) and support groups.
The meeting brought CBO and support group representatives together to strengthen their advocacy skills, build their organisational capacity and engage with stakeholders. It is part of our joint work with Lawyers Alert to advance capacity and reduce vulnerability in Nigeria.
Strong, well-organised CBOs and support groups help build more resilient communities. We will continue to work with Lawyers Alert to support them in speaking up for the health and rights of the people they serve.
