In September 2025, Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI) held a routine community health outreach in Imabana Itamtet village, Obubra Local Government Area (LGA), Cross River State. The outreach was part of our ongoing work to take essential health services directly to rural communities in Obubra and to close gaps in access to care.
Services offered on the day included:
- TB screening, diagnosis and treatment
- HIV testing services
- hepatitis B testing
- malaria testing and treatment
- blood pressure and blood sugar checks
- health education and awareness
Bringing these services together in one place allowed community members to be checked for several conditions in a single visit, close to home. We remain committed to making sure no one in these communities is left behind in access to health care.
