In December 2025, Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI) carried out door-to-door tuberculosis (TB) screening in Agbokim community, Etung Local Government Area (LGA), Cross River State. The screening used portable digital X-ray (PDX), bringing chest X-ray screening directly to households that need it most.

Taking screening to people’s homes helps us to:

  • detect TB early
  • increase access to testing
  • raise awareness of TB prevention and treatment
  • link suspected cases to care

We thank the people of Agbokim for their openness and cooperation, and our field team for their commitment. This work is part of our community TB and HIV case finding in Cross River State, and of our wider effort to bring health care closer to underserved communities.
